Educational Qualification

10th Standard (Matriculation) under 10+2 system with minimum 50% marks.
ITI Certificate in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institution.
Age Limit (as per rules)

Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 24 years
Age Relaxations:
SC/ST: +5 years
OBC: +3 years
PwBD: +10 years - 4) Training & Stipend

Duration of Training: As per Apprentices Act rules.
Stipend: As per Railway Board???s prescribed rates (generally ???6,000 ??? ???7,000 per month depending on qualification).
5) Selection Process

No Written Exam.
Selection will be on merit basis:
Average percentage of marks in 10th (Matriculation) + ITI marks.
Tie-breaking: If marks are same ??? older candidate preferred. -
